iron maiden - rime of the ancient mariner
senior english in high school: our teacher for the first half of the year, mr. barnes, transposed the samuel taylor coleridge epic “rime of the ancient mariner” with the maiden song. needless to say, he won us over that day.
also at my high school there was the iron maiden club - a club that met once a month, watched iron maiden music videos, and ate pizza at lunch.
